Radon is the most common cause of lung diseases including cancer after smoking. This gas causes about 10% of all lung cancers in the USA. When building new houses, especially in radon-hazardous areas, measures to protect against radon should be provided at the design stage.

The following measures can reduce the concentration of radon in existing buildings:

When building new constructions, especially in radon-hazardous areas, measures to protect against radon should be taken at the design stage. It is also better to install a Radon Mitigation System from the very beginning. It was proved that Radon Protection Systems reduce indoor concentrations of the gas by more than half. The addition of forced ventilation will provide even more radon protection.
